As I sit and reflect on my last semester at Howard University, I must say it has been quite an experience. I learned more about myself, made great friends, and lost some “friends”. Of all my years in undergrad, this one semester has granted me the most epiphanies. Even with all of the excitement of becoming an alumna of one of the most prestigious universities in the country, I can admit I am terrified of what’s next to come. I’m terrified because I have no clue what’s coming next, all I know is that I want more. I want to get an advanced degree, I want to make lots of money, I want to do a lot. I used to say I couldn’t wait to get out of college, but it has taken me less than a week to realize I will miss college in the spring. It has been a long journey full of joy, tears, and various triumphs, I thank the Lord I made it through!!
